Synopse
The Netherlands as a narco state: political institutions and the police are involved in drug dealing.A tense two-part federal police Tatort. Car dealer Joe Glauning goes missing from a camp site in the area of the German-Dutch border – leaving behind his personal documents, keys and mobile. Traces of blood imply that violence was used. Investigating the mysterious case confronts border police Chief Inspector Thorsten Falke (Wotan Wilke Möhring) with a moral abyss and takes him to the Netherlands. He is assisted by the gifted cyber-specialist Mario Schmitt (Dennis Moschitto) and the Dutch Inspector Lynn de Baer (Gaite Jansen).

HANS STEINBICHLER was born in Solothurn and studied at the HFF Munich. His debut film Hierankl (2003) won a Grimme Prize. Among his best-known works are Das Tagebuch der Anne Frank (2016) and Ein ganzes Leben, which was shown in 2023 at FILMFEST HAMBURG.
